Yosuke Asano
Head Bartender
After graduating from college, Yosuke Asano moved to Hokkaido, where he worked at a racehorse farm. In the later years, Asano found a job as a bartender when he changed his career direction and in 2014, Asano joined The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto, soon after its opening. He has been leading The Bar as head bartender since 2016. He has challenged himself in various cocktail competitions and won the top prize in Japan. Asano's original cocktails are made with local ingredients, which he carefully selects and creates unique and artistic cocktails that have earned him a solid reputation.
Kenichi Takeshita
Bartender
After honing his expertise in hospitality, he launched his bartending career at a hotel in Osaka. Over the years, he refined his craft at various prestigious luxury hotels before joining The Ritz-Carlton, Kyoto, in 2020. In 2022, he achieved the pinnacle of recognition by being crowned Grand Champion at the 'Rémy Martin Bartender Talent Competition Japan 2022.' Renowned for his exceptional cocktail artistry and innovative approach, he has earned widespread acclaim in the industry.
